To give young people of Monterey County opportunities for a better future. We do this through active involvement in Life Skills and golf skills that are learned on the course, in the classroom, and in service to each other and the community.

Greetings ‘First Tee’ers!
Thanks to our partnership with Alisal Union School District, our current membership is more than 3,400 participants!
The Going Gangbusters program is launching a Matching Grant Campaign with the support of The Monterey Peninsula Foundation. For every dollar The First Tee Monterey County (TFTMC) raises, the Monterey Peninsula Foundation will match with $1.50. 150%- how great is that!
Our first initiative is “Change For Salinas!” Salinas is a beautiful city with great charm and pride. And we know that Salinas is filled with great kids because we see more than 300 of them here every day! Take a few minutes to watch the following video of what’s going on in our chapter, then decide how much “Change For Salinas” you want to make using our "DONATE" button on the home page. Remember, for every dollar you donate, the Monterey Peninsula Foundation will donate an additional $1.50.

2009 Summer Camps
2009 Summer Camp will be held Monday, June 22nd- Friday, August 14th and is open to all TFTMC members ages 7-17. Summer Camp is open registration Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and transporation will be provided from 14 local elementary schools.

The First Tee of Monterey County is ramping up for the summer program and we need your help! Volunteers and members (Birdie level or higher) have the opportunity to sign up to be a camp counselor.
