Over 300 will gather at North Eastern University for an amazing week, and participants came from communities around the globe, each having Computer Clubhouse in common.
The Teen Summit is a unique experience for all participants. It is six days of exploration of the Clubhouse tools, college and career opportunities and the city of Boston, along with a chance to meet other Clubhouse members and staff. It is also an opportunity to create a movement across the Clubhouse Network to inspire their peers and instill leadership in others, a chance to acquire new skills to take home and share with their Clubhouse, an occasion to learn about cultures from around the world and make new friends and memories that will last forever.
Participants will attend different workshops and tracks including; Puzzles and Patterns, Putting Yourself on the Map (hosted by Google), Creating a Business From an Idea, Animate Your Life (Featuring 3d software), and Voices, Power Action: Organizing Our Communities. Also, participants will be introduced to participants from over 70 Clubhouses in over 20 countries. This incredible trip will change your life forever and can teach you to learn how to name problems and identify solutions for change. During the trip, members will have a free night in Boston to take a walk down history lane and see where our country began. Included in the trip is a three-hour tour of the Boston Harbor on a yacht with ice cream sundaes and music. Each day is filled with activities, great food, and even better company. Here are some of our favorite memories from 2008...
